Dr. Alan Treviño, a graduate with honors from the UANL School of Medicine, has built an outstanding career in ophthalmology with both national and international experience. He completed a clinical research exchange at the University of Warsaw, Poland, and specialized in Ophthalmology at the University Hospital “Dr. José E. González” (UANL). His training was further enriched with a rotation in Cornea and Retina at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami.

He later pursued two advanced fellowships: Ocular Inflammatory Diseases and Uveitis at APEC (UNAM, Mexico City), and Medical and Surgical Retina at the LV Prasad Eye Institute in India. He is certified by the Mexican College of Ophthalmology (No. 4209) and is also a researcher and active member of the National System of Researchers (SNI-CONAHCYT). Dr. Treviño has authored multiple publications and presented at national and international congresses in areas including neurology, glaucoma, cornea, retina, and uveitis.
